MRI Courses for Radiographers
MRI courses are necessary for Radiographers to gain an in-depth knowledge of MRI principles,
technology, patient/staff safety and the optimising of image quality.
Course Focus
This MRI course focusses on clinical
scenario based learning to support application of theory to clinical practice, improving fundamental clinical skills in MRI.
It is suitable for Radiographers who are
relatively new to MRI or who want to understand the underpinning principles and improve application of the theory in their practice.
As a minimum, one to two months
experience in the MRI department prior to the course is beneficial, but not essential.
This course combines 2x single day live interactive study days (Parts 1 and 2) together with an e-learning
programme and support.
E-learning can be completed at the delegates' own pace and will be available between the first and second
study days, thereby reinforcing the building blocks of knowledge gained from the study day components.
Access to e-learning is via our dedicated e-learning tool.
Corsmed MRI Simulator
We are proud to integrate the use of the
Corsmed MRI Simulator within the course to assist delegate understanding of parameter selection
and manipulation together with impact on image quality/scan time.
Relative SNR and accurate scan time is
represented on all our examples together with manipulation of geometry and timing parameters.
More information regarding the Corsmed
MRI Simulator can be found here
Radiographer Delivery
Delivered by Radiographers and other medical imaging professionals, for Radiographers, the live interactive
study days feature the Corsmed MRI Simulator, polling, discussion and breakout areas*
